Leisure’s Ornamental Patterns

Need a place to paint in a friendly and supportive environment? Join us the first week of each month for four consecutive weeks! Have your own table with your art supplies always ready and waiting for your arrival in Donna’s shared studio.  $175 for four weeks, Wednesday & Thursday, 12:30-4:30 pm. For only $20 more, Tuesday can be added for independent studio time.  You will have use of the kitchen for lunches and hot drinks, critiques by instructor as requested and painting demos. Location:  Donna’s art studio with panoramic views in the foothills of the Coastal Range near Philomath, Oregon.  Studio enrollment begins the first week of each month. Limited to 8 participants.  Water-based medias only: watercolor, casein, gouache, acrylic, mixed media and water-based oils.  Oil paints and pastels are too toxic to use in the shared teaching studio.

    Deadline for enrollment is 5 days before the first date of workshop.

Shared Painting Studio


Begin on Wed. Feb. 4 or Wed. Feb. 11th

Cost is $175 for four weeks or $130 for 3 weeks

Watercolor, Acrylic, and All Water-based artists are welcome.  

The price of $175 includes four weeks of studio –  Wed & Thursday from 12:30-4:30 p.m. beginning February 4. This month only, $130 for three weeks beginning February 11.  

You will have use of the kitchen for lunches and hot drinks, critiques by instructor as requested and painting demos. The studio has panoramic views of the foothills of the Coastal Range near Philomath, Oregon and is located at 31364 Peterson Road, Philomath.

Art Classes 2015

ART CLASSES:

I am currently offering two workshops in the beautiful Willamette Valley in Oregon.

  1. *  Open Studio – Beginning January 6.  Have your own table with your art supplies always ready and waiting for your arrival in Donna’s shared teaching & painting studio.  Four weeks, Wednesday & Thursday from January 6 through January 28th, 1-4 pm each day.  Cost of $175 includes your own real estate,  use of the kitchen for lunches and hot drinks, critiques by instructor as requested and painting demos in acrylic. Location:  Donna’s art studio with panoramic views in the foothills of the Coastal Range near Philomath, Oregon.  Limited to 10 participants.
  2. Beginning Acrylic Painting – April 24 & 25, Friday and Saturday 9am – 4 pm at the Brownsville Art Center in Oregon.  If you have never painted, never had any art class, but have a desire to learn how to use acrylics, this is the workshop made just for you. No previous experience is required.  The course is aimed at all levels of participants who have an interest in learning to paint with acrylics and how to use various mediums and gels. Cost:  $190.  Limited to 12 participants.
